As you all know, only a couple of weeks ago we held a very special party: our Spring-Summer 2010 Fashion Show, where we introduced our new collection.

We know it is quite difficult to wait now 2 to 3 months until this collection reaches our stores and that’s why, like every season, we try to bring you a mini-collection as a small preview of what’s to come.

Well, time has come! Today our Spring Preview special collection has arrived in stores and Mangoshop, so that you can start wearing what will be fashion in short.

Based on a sophisticated mixture of blues and blacks, we introduce as a first touch of  Spring a silhouette inspired by the 80s. The idea is to play contrasts by mixing night and day garments, as well as, masculine and feminine elements. Graphic checks, stripes and dots create a clean and fresh look, that can become more romantic and sophisticated by adding lace and plumetti elements.newarrival1

There are several key ideas to work for the ideal look: combine rectangular and tulipe shapes in the same silhouette; go for structured dresses; pair boyish suit jacket with striped t-shirt and shorts (add leggings for an 80s touch); or bet for corsets to show off you waist.

Main fabrics in this collection are delicate ones like tafeta, tulle, lace or lamé, and the always must-have denim. Sequins details are still a final touch, together with ripped details, cuts, intarsia or dévoré.

As we already hinted, the colour range is based mainly in blue, combined with grey, black and off-white, that brings light to the look.
